Great South Run 2017 - Jemma Oakes

Jemma has pledged to walk the Great South Run on 22nd October 2017 completely unaided only 11 months after a complicated hip replacement.

In November 2016 Jemma had her right hip replaced along with an osteotomy of her right femur; the bone is currently held in place by a specially made bespoke metal plate.

It would be an amazing feat for Jemma to complete this 10 mile event totally unaided.
